I've also read that you may have to have a no-CD crack (which I do not trust) in order to get the game to work. I've read somewhere that the Sims has safedisk on it and Windows 10 does not support that due to its potential of harming computers I'd expect Microsoft to develop Windows 10 with old games in mind. I'm frustrated and disappointed that the games do not work. I've also downloaded a virtual machine in Windows 8.1 and still, there's been no luck. ![]() ![]() I've installed and uninstalled the games countless times tried running the games in compatibility mode for all previous OS and I've tried running the games as administrator. I am going crazy over this- I've been trying to get my Sims 1 games to work on my windows 10 laptop for 7 days straight now. My Solution at the end of my post: For the past week and a half I’ve been trying to get the Origin Sims 2 Ultimate to run on my Windows 10 Professional PC, with 64GB RAM, Intel 2.9GHz Hex-Core and 8GB Radeon GPU, I NEVER had any issues with this game on Win Vista, Win 7 or Win 8.1.
